Settled in Lyons, IA around 1870 or 1871. Originally from Pennsylvania, then went to Wisconsin, then Little Rock Island, Clinton. Survived by a daughter (Mrs. Henry Ohsann), three brothers (D.C. Law of Lyons, IA; G.W. Law of Punxsutawney and C.M. Law of the same) and three grandsons.
