Mrs. Thelma Harmon Childs, 27 years old, wife of H.G. Childs, 1045 Sullivan street, died at Hotel Dieu at 2:30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, William G. Childs, her father, J.M. Harmon of Crowley, La., one brother, Willie Harmon of Port Arthur, and a sister, Mrs. Jake Swenzy of Beaumont. Funeral services will be held at the Roberts Undertaking company's parlors at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon. The services will be conducted by Rev. Z.R. Dally, pastor of the Park street Christian church, and burial will be in Magnolia cemetery.
