Prairie du Sac., Wis., Jan. 16. Death has claimed the eldest of the three oldest sisters in . the United States, Miss Ammarillas Eaton King Terry, aged 90 years, 7 months and 13 days. Up to the time of the first paralytic stroke she had enjoyed her usual good health, having been remarkably active for one so - advanced .in years. She and her first husband, David King, were among the first settlers who came to Sauk 'Prairie, having arrived in the year 1843. , Mrs. Perry is survived by four sisters and one brother, as follows:
Clarina Eaton King, Prairie du Sac, Wis., born June 22, 1822; Phoebe Ann Eaton Johnson," Ellis, la., born Dec. 15, 1826; Joshua Eaton, bachelor, Henderson, Neb., born Oct. 30, 1828; Sophronia Eaton Percival, Webster City, la., born March 19, 1831; Lucinda Eaton Hopkins, Henderson, Neb., bora March 19, 1833. Mrs. Ammarillas Eaton King Perry was born May 28, 1815, in New York state.
Before the death of Mrs. Perry the combined ages of the surviving "members of the Eaton family was 478 years, one month and one day, or an average of 79 years, 8 months and 5 days. The fourth sister is now over 74 years old and is Mrs. Percival of Webster City, la. Without the aid of glasses Mrs. Perry hit the bulls eye twice out of three times when at the advanced age of 86 years, 2 months and 4 days. These shots were made with a Winchester rifle and the target was only two Inches In diameters
