Marvin E. Ard , 76, High Ridge, died Sept. 11, 2007, at St. Anthony's Medical Center. He was born Jan. 26, 1931, in St. Louis, the son of Albert C. and Luella (Schneider) Ard , who preceded him in death.
He worked for AT&T and was a member of the Communication Workers of America. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Arnold VFW.
He is survived by his brother, Gerald J. (Anna) Ard of St. James; two nieces, Diane (Keith) Corlee of Northeast, Md., and Vickie (Don) Bowman of Cottleville; and his nephew, Dennis (Pamela) Ard of Woodstock, Ga.
Funeral was Sept. 17 at Chapel Hill Mortuary, High Ridge. Interment is in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Soldiers Returning from Iraq.
