Colorado City – Mr. Clarence "Ray" Kincheloe, age 78, went to meet his Lord on November 25, 2011, in Lubbock, Texas, after a 2 year battle with cancer. He was born February 16, 1933 to Bud and Edna Brown Kincheloe in San Saba County, Texas. He married Mary Lena Balzen on April 13, 1952 in Hamilton, Texas. She preceded him in death on September 28, 1999.They moved to Odessa, Texas in 1954 where he worked for B & B Constructors, 3-Way Constructors and retired from Phillips Petroleum. He then moved to Colorado City and started his own backhoe service. Ray and Mary were married for 48 years and were lifetime members of the Church of Christ. He was also preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and a son, Glen Dale Kincheloe.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Daryl and Nancy Kincheloe of Pittsburg, Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Mark Braddock of Lubbock, Texas; a brother, Dean Kincheloe of Comanche, Texas; six grandsons and 20 great grandchildren.
Family and friends visitation time will be at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home, 338 Locust St in Colorado City, Texas on Monday, November 28, 2011 from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be at 10 AM, November 29, 2011 at the 22nd & Austin Sts Church of Christ in Colorado City. Burial will be at 3 PM Tuesday in Sunset Memorial Gardens on Odessa.
He always faced life's trials with a smile and his loved ones will miss him dearly.
Pallbearers are is six grandsons: James Dunlap, Larry Dunlap, Jerry Dunlap, Tommy Kincheloe, David Kincheloe and Stephen Kincheloe
