ILLNESS FATAL TO MR. FISHER - Vaught C. Fisher, 56 years old, an engineer for the Eureka Pipe Line Company and a brother of Deputy Sheriff F. R. Fisher, died Tuesday at his home at Walton, Roane county, as the result of an attack of pneumonia. He was a son of the late P. S. Fisher, who served as county commissioner for this county for one term. The funeral services were conducted at the Pleasant View church near Kenna Wednesday afternoon at two-thirty with Rev. F. E. Mundy in charge and burial was in the Fisher cemetery. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Oma Lanham Fisher; eight sons, Coral, Eugene, Clarence, William, Harold, Raymond, Warren and Harry Fisher; two daughters, Miss Audra Fisher and Miss Thelma Fisher; three brothers, R. H. Fisher of Walton, F. R. Fisher of Kenna and M. B. Fisher of Clendenin; and three sisters, Mrs. C. L. Staats of Fairplain, Mrs. L. A. Higginbotham of Dunbar and Mrs. E. B. Kee of Charleston.
