FORT WORTH -- Ella Mae Brown, 69, a retired bookkeeper for Fort Worth Automotive, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2002, at a Fort Worth hospice.

Mass of Christian Burial: 2 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, 5508 Black Oak Lane. Burial: Greenwood Memorial Park. Rosary: 5:30 p.m. Friday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Prayer vigil: 6 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with visitation afterward from 7 to 9 p.m.

Memorials: LifeGift Organ Donation Center or Vitas Hospice.

Ella Mae Brown was born Dec. 9, 1932, in Muenster. She was a loving wife and mother and was affectionately known by her grandchildren as "Nanny." Her family was precious to her and she to them. She will be missed by all.

Survivors: Husband of nine years, Carl Brown; daughters, Lydia Stoner and husband, Gary, of Azle, Donna Thomas and husband, Richard, of Watauga and Marcy Hurd and husband, Tim, of Crystal Beach; stepson, Michael Brown and wife, Janet, of Azle; brothers, Albert Wiesman of Fort Worth and her twin brother, Elmer I. Wiesman of Southlake; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
