He was born May 14, 1948, in Spokane, to Henry and Hazel Lombard.

Survivors include his wife, Leona Lombard, Butte; sons, Tyler and Cody Lombard of Butte, Brian Lombard; stepchildren, Alan Weis and Shenell Weis of Butte, Crystil Englert and Travis Englert of Iowa, Danny Englert of Washington; parents-in-law, Eva Griego and Nick Griego; sisters-in-law, Marcia Vollin, Maria Kimbler, Dacia Griego, Nicole Griego; brother-in-law, Alan Griego; niece, Alisha Kimbler; special friends, Chip and Elizabeth Boyle of Washington, Ronald Englert of Washington; numerous grandchildren; great-grandson, Johnthan Englert of Minnesota.

He was preceded in death by his parents; stepchildren, Rita Englert, Ronald Englert; grandson, Ryan Englert; nephew, Nicolas Vollin.

Edward worked as a mechanic, cook and machinist.

He was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps.
