He was born April 1, 1889 in Jasper County, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bromm. On Apr. 2, 1914, he was married to Mary Sessengood.
His wife survives, along with sons, Floyd of Michigan City, IN, Ralph of Dundas; daughters, Mrs. Alberta Cooley of South Holland, IL, Virginia Leist of Olney, Emelene Monaco of Littletown, NY, Esther Garrett of Flora; brothers, George of Webster City, IA, Roy of Edmiston, Alberta, Canada, Dean of Newton; and a sister, Rose DiCiro of Olney.
Services will be held Wednesday at the Marshall Funeral Chapel in Newton, with burial in Crest Haven Memorial Park east of Olney. Rev. Jesse Kindred and Rev. Charles Johnson will officiate.
