Edith Margaret Allison, 82, longtime Miles City area resident passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2005, in the Holy Rosary Extended Care Facility.
Born May 5,1922 in Miles City, she was a daughter of Charles and Ruby Russell Bartsch.
She grew up and attended schools in Miles City.
Following her education she lived and worked in Miles City for several area business.
During her younger years, she enjoyed riding horses and working in her garden.
She and Newell Allison were married and enjoyed six years of marriage before Mr. Allison died in a tragic auto accident, leaving Mrs. Allison to raise a five-year-old and a six-month-old infant.
Her survivors include her daughter, Sherry Allison of Miles City; her son, Terry Allsion of South Dakota; one granddaughter, Tera Butler; and one great-grandson.
Cremation has taken place in the Bullis-Graves Eastern Montana Crematory.
Memorial Funeral Services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2005, in the Bullis-Graves Memorial Chapel.
Private inurnment will be held in the Custer County Cemetery, Miles City, MT.
