S/Sgt. Uvaldo G. Morales, born January 2, 1923, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. G. Morales, San Antonio, volunteered September 25, 1942, for the Army Air Corps, training at Kelly Field. April, 1044, his unit was transferred to the European Theater of War where he served both in England and France. May 24, 1944, while on a mission over Germany, Sgt. Morales lost his life in service for his country near Temple Fields, Germany.
