Pearlenar (Pearl) Graham Baker Abreu, age 90, left this world for her new home to be with Jesus on Friday, January 4, 2008.
Funeral services were held on Monday, January 7, 2008 at 2 PM in the Summers-Bakker Funeral Home Chapel. Interment followed at Romney Cemetery with Pastor John Howard officiating.

Pearl Rich was born on January 12, 1917 in the Romney Community to Allison Rich and Flora May Curtis. She grew up in Romney with her four sisters, five brothers, and two step-brothers. She graduated from high school in Rising Star.
Pearl worked at Horton Pottery and Ceramics but was primarily a homemaker. She was brought up in Church and attended the Pentecostal Church. Pearl was blessed with four children, fourteen grandchildren, forty three great-grandchildren, thirteen great-great- grandchildren and numerous extended family members and friends.

Pearl loved the Lord and loved people. She was especially fond of little children and they always made her smile. Pearl looked for the more meaningful things in life; God, love, friendship and family. She had a love for Gospel music.

Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter Gay Nell Howard.

Pearl is survived by her husband of twenty years, Juan Abreu; son, Charles Graham and wife Nina of Springtown; daughters, Joyce Elmore and her husband Aden of Eastland and Bonnie Williams of Carbon; sisters, Lillian Pharr of Little Rock and Augusta McCoy of Eastland; fourteen grandchildren; forty three great-grandchildren; and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
