Birtie Parker

TUNICA, Ms - - Mrs. Birtie Bain Parker, widow of H. F. Parker, died Saturday at Methodist Hospital South in Memphis where she had been a patient two days.

Services were at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at Memorial Funeral Home chapel. Dr. Pat Nowell, minister of First Baptist Church, officiated. Interment was in Oakwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Parker, 75, had lived in Tunica since about 1915. She was a Baptist.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Jeanette Bonds of Memphis, Mrs. Gloria Baugham [Baughman] of Horn Lake, Mrs. Laura Stevenson of Kingsport, Tenn., and Mrs. Yvonne Hamilton of Olive Branch; three sons, Miles Parker of Memphis, Kenneth Parker of Birmingham, Ala., and Larry Parker of Tunica; four sisters, Mrs. Nedra Free of Holly Grove, Ark., Mrs. Ethel Ford and Mrs. Laura Miller, both of Hernando, and Mrs. Geraldine Reilly of Eudora; two brothers, Arthur Bostick of Walls and Paul Bostick of Jackson, Tenn.; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Gene Goad, David Goad, Bill Spencer, Sammy Spencer, Bill Barnes and Frank Miller.
