Fred D. LEMLER, 73, Mentone, died at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday in his home following an illness of several years.
He was born Aug. 22, 1905 in Bourbon to Daniel and Katherine MILLER LEMLER. He was married Sept. 2,1923 in Bourbon to Lois HILL, who survives. Mr. Lemler was a grocer, starting in 1932 with the Hill-Lemier grocery in Mentone. He retired in 1969. He was a member
of the First Baptist church, Mentone, and had served two terms on the Mentone Town Board.
Surviving with the wife are two daughters, Mrs. Wayne (Phyllis) BOWSER, Mentone, and Mrs. Stan (LeahNell) YEITER, Atwood; four sisters, Mrs. Ada BYRER, Mrs. Ella
WOODCOCK and Mrs. Trella NEIDIG, all of Bourbon, and Mrs. Ruth GRISE, Bremen; seven grandchildren, and six grat-grandchildren. Three sisters and a brother preceded in death.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the First Baptist church, Mentone, with the Rev. Norman McVEY officiatng. Burial will be in the Mentone cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the King Memorial home, Mentone.
