GERALDINE MARY WISE (nee Smith): 86, of Elyria, died Wednesday [3-30] at CenterRidge Nursing Home-North Ridgevl, following a short illness. Born in Elyria, she was a lifelong resi-dent & was a graduate of Elyria High School in 1936. MrsWise was employed as a clerk for Arthur Hess Pharmacy in Elyria for many years & had worked for Grafton Department Store in Grafton. She also worked at Paul Wise Service Station in Grafton with her husband for many years. She was a member of N.Eaton Christian Church-Grafton & a member of of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post-1079 Aux.
Survivors include sons: Robert & David Wise-both of Elyria; a dau: Donna Wise-Pasadena CA; 4 grandchildren; & 6 gr-grandchildren; a bro: Earl Smith of Elyria. She was preceded in death by her husband-Paul E Wise in 1975; a grandson & her parents: Cyril Smith & Sophia (nee Seckt) Smith.
Friends may call Friday at Reichlin-Roberts Funeral Home-Elyria where services will be held Saturday morning [4-02] with the RevJudy Ponting officiating. Burial will be in Butternut Ridge Cem-North Eaton. Memorial contributions may be made to North Eaton Christian Church-Grafton or Arthritis Foundation of Northeast Ohio-Cleveland OH.
