Misty Jo King, of Olney, died at 1:34 p.m. Thursday, November 24, 2011, at Doctors Nursing and Rehab Center in Salem.

Visitation will be from 10-11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Elm Street Christian Church in Olney. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church with Minister Larry Weber officiating. Entombment will be at Star of Hope Mausoleum in Crest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery in rural Claremont. Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney is in charge of arrangements.

Misty was born in Murphysboro, the daughter of Richard and JoAnn (Brewster) King.

She graduated from East Richland High School and attended Olney Central College. She was on the Student Council. Misty worked for many different businesses in Olney. She was a member of Elm Street Christian Church and participated in the Bible School and Summer Lunch Program. Her greatest joy was her grandson, Dylan.

She is survived by her mother, JoAnn King, of Olney; daughter, Randi Jo King McRoberts; son-in-law, Jefferey Partain; and grandson, Dylan Ray Partain, all of Simpson; a niece, Tabitha King, of Olney; and an uncle, Ben King and his wife, Peggy, of Hillsboro.

Misty was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Harold and Rosetta Brewster; paternal grandparents, Ezra and Pat King; father, Richard King; and brother, Grayson King.

Memorials may be made to Humane Society of Olney Area or Elm Street Christian Church Summer Lunch Program.
