Edwin Daniel Wilhelm Imhoff was baptized in the Eben Ezer Lutheran Church of Berlin, Washington County, Texas, on March 16, 1902, and he was confirmed April 16, 1916, at the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Germantown (now Schroeder) in Goliad County, Texas.
Edwin married Minnie Anna Ceason on January 13, 1925, in the Ceason Home in El Campo, Wharton County, Texas. They were the parents of four sons.

Edwin Imhoff, 52, of 2902 Ruth, died at 9:25 a.m. today in a local hospital after an illness of several weeks. He had been a resident here for 29 years and was a garage employee. He was a member of F.O.E. and the Knights of Pythias Lodge. Survivors are his wife, Minnie; four sons, Ryland, Edwin, Jr., and Delbert, all of Corpus Christi, and Larry with the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Victoria; two sisters, Mrs. Lorene Cloud of Houston and Mrs. Estelle Bender of El Campo, and a brother, Raymond, of Dallas. Cage-Mills Funeral Home will announce the arrangements.
