Andrew P. "A.P." Jackson, 94, of Beaumont died March 27, 2005 at Sheridan Care Center in College Station. A native of Monroe, Louisiana and resident all of his life before moving to College Station, Mr. Jackson was a commercial truck driver. He is survived by his step daughter, Delores Smith and her husband Doyle of DeRidder, Louisiana; and nephew and niece Robert and Pat Collins of Snook, Texas; step grandchildren, Vickie Griffen of Harlingen, Jerry Johnson of Cravens, Louisiana, Deborah Wise and her husband Terry of Mora, Louisiana, Rhonda Haymon and her husband John of Deville, Louisiana, and Sheila Johnson of DeRidder; four step great grandchildren; and seven step great great grandchildren. His wife, Evelyn Collins Jackson, preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 2:oo p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2005 at Smyrna Baptist Church, followed by burial in Smyrna Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
