William (Bill) Lewis Gay, age 84, passed away January 15, 1993 in Ontario, Oregon.
He was born December 19, 1908 in Payson to William Thorton and Kjerst Peterson Gay. He married Doris Taylor July 12, 1933 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died May 19, 1968.
He is survived by his two sons: Marvin Lewis Gay of Huntington Beach, California; and Ronald Martell Gay of Salt Lake City; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother and two sisters: Morden Gay of Payson; Dorothy Griffis of Murray; Bertha Cardan of Tooele. He was preceded in death by his brother James Gay; and sisters, Betty Jean McClane and Nelly Roundy.
Burial was January 19, 1993.
