Jean was a member of the Living Waters Assembly of God. She traveled all over the world, played semi-pro basketball with the Arkansas Redheads, played softball, was a seamstress and enjoyed quilting. She also enjoyed yard work, the Razorbacks and she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alton Vernon Fix and one sister, Mary Lou Shockley.
She is survived by her children, Michael, Keith, & Belinda; Sisters Mona, Shirley, & Pat; five grandchildren; one great grandchild.
The Funeral Service was Monday, December 29, 2008 in the Chapel of Moores Cabot Funeral Home. Interment followed at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
