Mr. Algier was an avid bass fisherman who would go fishing rain, snow and sunshine. He has won several state bass fisherman championships over the years.
In his teen years, Mr. Algier enjoyed playing softball. He was a laid back, quiet individual who would do what he wanted to do.
He adored his grandchildren and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda Algier of Greenwood; sons, Mark Algier of Easton, Chris Algier of Denton, and Jared Algier of Salisbury; brother, Terry and wife Jo Ellen Algier of Greenwood; and grandchildren, Madison, Madelyn, and Blake Algier.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Algier. Funeral Services will be Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, from 1 to 2 p.m.
Graveside Services will follow visitation, Sunday, Nov. 27, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Hollywood Cemetery.
