Mrs. Ann Peters, 55, 715 W. 10th St., died Thursday at Ball Hospital following an extended illness. A lifelong resident of Muncie, she was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary at Selma.

Survivors include her husband, James; a daughter, Mrs. Peggy Phillips, Anderson; a son, Thomas Peters, Fort Wayne; her mother, Mrs. Lela Bird, Muncie; three sisters, Mrs. Rosella Cartwright and Mrs. Alice LaChat, both of Muncie, and Mrs. Betty Jennings, Marion; six brothers, Edward Bird, Alexandria, George Bird, Shelbyville, and Charles, Ray, Gary and Michael Bird, all of Muncie; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Parson Mortuary with Rev. Paul F. Hill officiating. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory. Friends may call at the mortuary 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and prior to services Saturday.
