Michael G. "Red" Segerson, 68, of Indianapolis died on June 17, 2008 after a long battle with thyroid cancer. He was born on October 10, 1940 to John N. and Marguerite (Gordon) Segerson. Michael graduated from St. Joseph's Prep School in Bardstown, Kentucky. He was in the Air Force reserve during the Vietnam War. Michael worked at the Chrysler Electrical plant and then retired as a diesel mechanic from Kenworth of Indianapolis. He was a member of the Pebble Brook Men's Club and the Knights of Columbus.

Michael is survived by his wife, Mary (Folkers) Segerson; son, Matthew Segerson; son, Thomas Segerson; daughter, Meg Segerson; daughter, Anna (Gabe) Brooks; son, John Segerson; brother, Jay Segerson; sister, Mary Lou (James) Schuler; grandchildren, Miles, Owen and Katie Brooks; and several nieces and nephews.
