Kelly Leanna Smith Howell went home with the Lord on November 20, 2011. She was born on August 20, 1972 to her loving parents, Anna Smith Massa (Ken) and Travis Edward Smith (Jean).

Kelly graduated from Whitehaven Presbyterian Elementary School, Evangelical Christian School, and received a BSRN from the University of Memphis.
Kelly devoted approximately 10 years to working in the emergency room at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital and was currently working as a neonatal nurse at The Med. Kelly's compassion for helping others was demonstrated through her career as a nurse.
Her loving nature was also shown through the care of her two children, Hunter Bailey Howell, 13 and Kaci Anna Billings, age 21. She was a very devout mother with an exceptional amount of love and support for them.

In addition to her parents, Kelly also leaves her two brothers, Kevin Smith and Scott Smith and her two nephews Justin and Gavin. Kelly was an active member of Hope Church in Cordova, TN.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 25, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Memphis Funeral Home, 5599 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, TN. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 2 p.m., also at the funeral home.
