A very long obituary appeared with the header titles -
Thos. Musgrave Ends His Checkered Career.
Successful Banker Known to Older Bar Harbor Set.
He was Ruined in Business.
Long Litigation with his Family and Alienation from them Embittered his Last Years....
The final line says "At the age of 72 he died heart-broken, alienated from his family and shattered in health and fortune."
