BOSTWICK, Susan - of Burton, age 86, died Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be held 11 am Monday, December 7, 2009 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio, Rev. Patrick Stybert officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
Susan was born October 13, 1923 in Flushing Township, Michigan to the late John and Nancy (Purdee) Buben.
She had resided in the Burton area the past 57 years.
Susan married Clinton Bostwick on June 20, 1944. She was employed with the State of Michigan for 17 years, retiring in 1997.
Susan was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church. She had a wonderful sense of humor and loved "puns". She was totally devoted to her family and thoroughly enjoyed all family gatherings. She will be truly missed.
Surviving are: Husband, Clint; children, Barbara, Bonnie, John, Daniel, David and Judy Bostwick; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, George and Paul.
Susan was also preceded in death by 2 grandchildren, 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
