Born to Leonard and Eunice Holmes Robinson. He was Sheriff and also a town officer in 1824-5 in Swanton, Franklin, Vermont where his father was also Sheriff in early 1800. He married Sally Atherton, daughter of Revolutionary War soldier, Capt. Joseph Atherton (1750-1839), in Chesterfield, NH on 20 Jan 1808 and they had 2 children. They removed to Bath, Summit, OH from Swanton in early to mid 1830's where his Sally died in Dec 1834. He was last recorded living with his daughter Persis Diantha (Robinson) Ayers and grandson Malcolm and granddaughter Helen in 1860 Census in Copley, Summit, OH.
