NEW VIENNA, Iowa - Clotilda M. "Tillie" Lueck, 92, of New Vienna, died Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004, at Oak Crest Manor, Dyersville.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Vienna, with the Rev. John O'Connor officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a parish scripture service at 4 p.m.

Clotilda Mary Lueck was born on April 25, 1912, at home in New Vienna, daughter of Anton and Elizabeth (Kramer) Lueck.

Tillie worked on the family farm until 1945, when she moved to town with her parents. She cared for them until 1967.

Tillie was a lifelong resident of New Vienna, and was an active member of St. Boniface Parish and its Altar Society, helping with many parish picnics. She worked as the housekeeper for Father Michael for five years and for Father Drexler for 10 years.

In her spare time, she loved to quilt and embroider pictures and linens. She had a good outlook on life and enjoyed the humor and stories from her many years.

Tillie was a godmother and special friend to Steve and Cathy Lueck.

Surviving are two sisters, Clara Koelker, of Dyersville, and Sister Helen Esther Lueck, FSPA, of La Crosse, Wis.; two sisters-in-law, Hattie Lueck and Hildegarde Lueck, and a brother-in-law, Aloys "Allie" Lansing, all of New Vienna; and eight nieces and 11 nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Lawrence and Herbert Lueck and Raymond Lueck, in infancy; three sisters, Olive Deutmeyer, Rose Lueck and Agnes Lansing; two brothers-in-law, Gregor Deutmeyer and Edmund Koelker; and two sisters-in-law, Irene Lueck and Marguerite Lueck.

Memorials may be given to Beckman High School.
