Twila L. 'Tie' Butler, 83, of 5475 French Road Adamsville, formerly of Dresden, died at 2:25PM Thursday April 24, 2003 in Morrison House Hospice.

Mrs. Butler was born August 21, 1919 in Frazeysburg, a daughter of the late Clarence Lee and Gatha Almeda (Bosh) Wolford. She had worked at the Bush Woolen Mill in Dresden and had done housework for David Longaberger for 18 years. Mrs. Butler was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dresden. Surviving is her sister, Grace Thomas of Adamsville and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodora Elias Butler, whom she married August 28, 1933, in 1937; sisters, Blanche Hindle, Wanda Jean Hindle, Helen Burrier, brothers, Chester Wolford, John Wolford and Lee Wolford and her step father, James Osborne.

Friends may call 6-9PM Sunday April 27, 2003 at the Vensil-Orr & Chute Funeral Home in Dresden. Funeral services will be held at 2PM Monday at the First Baptist Church with Pastor James Neidich and Pastor Andrew Dennis officiating. Burial will follow in the Frazeysburg Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Genesis Hospice or the First Baptist Church; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
