Pamela Mary Morton, age 55 of Marengo, Iowa, died Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at the Marengo Memorial Hospital.

Funeral Services: 11:00 A.M. Friday, November 18, 2011 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Marengo with Rev. Randolph McHone officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 P.M. Thursday, November 17, 2011 at the church. Burial will be at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, November 19 at High Gate Cemetery, St. James, MO. Memorials may be contributed to the ALS Society. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, IA is in charge of arrangements.

Pamela is survived by her husband Rev. Douglas Morton; sons, Jeffery Steelman (Ida) of Belton, MO, and Aaron Morton of Marengo; daughters, Rebecca Klinge (Bradley) of Columbus, IN, Melinda Flick (Seth) of Riverside, CA, and Rachel Denny (Christopher) of Walker, IA; 11 grandchildren, Grace, Madalynn, Alyssa and Savannah Steelman, Olivia and Laina Klinge, Noah, Micah and Elijah Flick, and Isiah and Izabella Denny; her mother Reva Winkle of St. James, MO; a brother Byron Bauer (Jessica) of Osage Beach, MO; and a sister Sharon Sisson (Vaughn) of Cuba, MO.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Pamela Mary Hance was born May 26, 1956 in Rolla, Missouri, the daughter of Roy Hance and Reva Bock. She attended St. James High School, then attended Rolla Vocational Technical School receiving her LPN degree. She continued her education at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, receiving her RN degree. Pam worked at various hospitals and nursing homes, and most recently was the Associate Director of Patient Care at the Marengo Memorial Hospital. She married Rev. Douglas Morton on July 5, 1980 at St. James, MO. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Marengo and the Ladies Aide. Pam was devoted to her children, grandchildren and Jesus.
