Leslie was born February 22, 1951 to Lindy and Dorothy Alibrici of Vancouver, Washington. She attended Catholic school through the eighth grade and was a graduate of Fort Vancouver High School in 1969. She attended Clark College and received an Associate of Arts Degree in Law and Justice. She was a reserve Deputy Sheriff for the Clark County Sheriff's Department. The D.B. Cooper hijacking resulted in an expansion of the Port of Portland Police Department at Portland International Airport and Leslie was hired by the Port Police in 1972. She retired from the Port of Portland Police in October 2001 with the rank of Lieutenant. She would comment that she went to work with D.B. Cooper and retired with 9/11. About six weeks after retiring, she was asked to return and serve as Administrative Lieutenant which she did for another five and a half months.

Leslie met her future Husband, Gary L. Lentz, Sr. a Deputy Sheriff with the Clark County Sheriff's Department and they were married in Reno, Nevada on November 6, 1973. Leslie passed away unexpectedly at home after a long battle with COPD and Reynaud's Disease 5 days short of their 38th wedding anniversary.

She was an active in the Order of Eastern Star and had served as the Worthy Matron of Martha Washington Chapter located in Vancouver, Washington. Leslie and her Husband owned a motor home and enjoyed RVing with Fort Vancouver Good Sam's and the Al Kader Shriners Caravaners RV Club. Leslie was also a member of The Daughters of the Nile and the Order of the White Shrine. Both organizations are related to Free Masonry. She was an active member of the Columbia River Camaro Club and attended many car rallies and cruise-ins.

Leslie really enjoyed cooking and spent a lot of time watching the Food Channel and was a fan of Paula Dean. Leslie amassed a collection of cook books, about 500 lbs worth, and loved to experiment with new recipes.

Leslie was preceded in death by her Mother and her Father. She had no siblings.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 11, 2011, at 1:00 p.m. at CrossPointe Church, 9810 NE 76th Street, Vancouver, Washington.
