The funeral of Mrs. Mary Beightol was conducted at the M.E. church Tuesday afternoon, Sept. 30, Rev. Bennett of Kamrar officiating, assisted by Rev. Clark. The remains were laid at rest in the Webster City cemetery by the side of her husband.

Mary Gimeson was born in Carroll County, Ohio, Oct. 27, 1833. Married to John Kimmel Dec. 3O, 1852, and moved to Marshall county, Iowa, in the fall of 1853; moved to Hamilton County in the spring of 1854. To them were born four children, three of whom survive them—Daniel Kimmel
of Webster City, Martha Beightol of Chicago, and Frank Kimmel of Reading,Pa. She was married the second time to William Beightol, March 6, 1879, and was again left a widow in 1899. She then made her home with her sister, Mrs. H. O. Wells of Kamrar until a few weeks before her death when she went to live with her son, Daniel Kimmel of Webster City. Her death occurred Sept. 28, 1902, at the age of sixty-nine years, eleven months and one day.

Deceased was converted at the early age of sixteen, at which time she became a member of the M. E. church, of which she has always been a faithful member. Her life was a victorious one and her death triumphant.
