Georginia "Jean" Hoover, 79, of Elyria, died Friday, November 4, 2011, at Wesleyan Village. She was born July 28, 1932 in Pittsburgh and lived in Lorain and West Salem, before moving to Elyria.
She was formerly employed at Muellers Packaging Corp. in Oberlin, and Koyo in Westlake, before retiring in 1994.
Jean is survived by nieces and nephews, including Patricia A. Norris of Wellington.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Jean Bennett in 2008; brothers, Charles W. and Robert E. White, both in 2004; and parents, Viola G. and Vernon R. Hoover.
Burial was in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township. Dicken Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Elyria was in charge of arrangements.
