Susie Mae Walter, 96, of Woodstock, died Sunday, November 20, 2011.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Massanutten Cemetery.
Mrs. Walter was born February 14, 1915 at Haymarket, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late William R. and Minnie Sinclair Gossom.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church, Woodstock for 40 years.
Mrs. Walter is survived by her husband, Richard R. Walter of Woodstock, whom she married on March 17, 1941; two daughters, Wanda W. Patch and her husband, Richard and Patricia D.W. McKay and her husband, David, all of Woodstock; two sisters, Elizabeth J. Clain of Daytona Beach, FL and Florence M. Blaine of Tampa, FL; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
