Miona Kate Watts Ivie, 83, Springville, died Thursday, November 24, 1988, in the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. She was born June 24, 1905, in Kanosh, the daughter of Jeremiah and Kate Lutie Walker Watts. She married Otto Verlin Ivie April 7, 1924, in Aurora, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake City Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints October 2, 1924. He died September 11, 1969. Survivors include one son and one daughter: Donna I. Knudsen, Provo; Waine O. Ivie, Bountiful; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; six brothers and two sisters: Don Watts, Leo Watts, Mrs. Arnold (June) Wilkins, Plate Watts and R.L. Watts, all of Springville; Maxine Rowland, Bountiful; Burns Watts, Park City; and Burnis Watts, Layton. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Verlin Ivie, and a brother, Weldo Watts.
