Services for Lois Marie Rydberg, 58, of Arthur were held Friday afternoon at the Evangelical Free Church in Arthur. The Rev. Robert Lundberg officiated, with burial in the Hayes Township Cemetery near Arthur.
Mrs. Rydberg, the former Lois Marie Lindgren, was born 29 Dec 1926 near Odebolt and was a lifelong area resident. She dies 22 Jan 1985 in a Sioux City hospital. She married LuVerne Rydberg 26 Aug 1947 in Arthur.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Harold (Gayle) Craig of Armstrong, Mrs. Rollin (Anne) Nordell and Joan Rydberg, both of Minneapolis, Mn; three sons, Rev. LaDon Rydberg of Cooperstown, ND, Kent of Coppell, Texas and Paul of Arthur; three sisters, Mrs. Charles (Virginia) McGee of Olympia, Washington, Mrs. Harold (Verna) Petersohn of Tacoma, Washington and Mrs. Wayne (Betty) Olson of Annandale, Virginia; three brothers, Paul of Arthur, Richard of Burney, California and Dennis of Ida Grove; 12 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
