Wallace C. Green
Age 80, of Dover, DE, died Saturday, November 19, 2011, at the Christiana Hospital.
Mr. Green was the son of the late Carl and Hilda (Self) Green. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a flight test mechanic at Boeing Vertol in Ridley Park, PA, retiring in 1994. Wallace was a licensed pilot and in his earlier years he enjoyed flying. He also enjoyed doing upholstery work.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Green and a sister-in-law, Mavis Green.* He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Rhea Lee Clendaniel Green; a daughter, Becky Pinkerton and her husband Ken, of Elsmere; a son, Jeffrey Dale Green, of Las Vegas, Nevada; two brothers William Green and his wife Dot, of Hayden, AL and James Leo Green and his wife Gloria, of Ashland, AL; one sister, Linda Sue Lesley and her husband John, of Pinson, AL and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 pm, on Saturday, November 26, at the McKnatt, Carpenter & Baker Funeral Home, 50 Commerce Street, Harrington where friends may call from 12 - 1 pm. Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Harrington.
