"Ricky", 17, was born to Brian James and Carrie Beth Suttles on August 12, 1994 and passed away on November 24, 2011. Ricky was an inspiration to all. He didn't speak much but was always kind to everyone and always grateful for everything he had. He loved his family and did his best to show it. Ricky enjoyed spending his time playing Xbox, playing and watching basketball especially Duke, and enjoying days out playing Frisbee with his friends. As a child Ricky was a member of the Royal Rangers at the church he grew up in, Aycock Fellowship. The things he learned through that program led him to do outstanding volunteer work with his school. Ricky attended GTCC and he was very gifted academically. Ricky would have graduated this December and began taking college courses in January. He was undecided as to which college he was going to choose as so many had opened their doors to him. Ricky was preceded in death by his mother, Carrie Beth and his sister Hanaleigh Michelle.
The families will receive friends from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, at Pleasant Garden Baptist Church. The funeral service for all will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 2 at the church. There will be a private interment at a later time.
