Mrs. Effie Rae Brumback, 84, a former Muncie resident and widow of Theodore H. Brumback, died Thursday in the Bethseda Hospital, Zanesville, Ohio. She was a well-known interpreter for the deaf and was a member of the old Jackson Street Christian Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Charles Kinner, and a sister, Miss Mary Heminger, both of Zanesville; a brother, Arthur Heminger, South Bend; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at Meeks Mortuary from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday and before services there at 1 p.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
