Mr. Jurca, a retired Chief of Operations at Olin Teague Veterans Hospital in Temple, was born February 27, 1927 in Buckholts to Edward and Janie (Hundle) Jurca. He was a Buckholts High School graduate.
He married Ruth Viola Elsik and she preceded him in death in 2005. Mr. Jurca was an Army Air Force veteran of World War II. He was a member of Taylor Valley Baptist Church, V.F.W. Post 2010 and the Central Texas Hospital Auxiliary.
A brother, Milton and a sister Florene Abel also preceded him in death.
