He reported it as being just over the Haywood County line in Jackson County and recognized many names as belonging to Haywood families. According to his notes he states that 'many are unmarked or grave sites identified with rock only and impossible to identify"
The Jackson County Cemetery index for Crawford Cemetery also lists many graves as being 'unmarked'.
the FAG online file shows other Ashe family members buried at this cemetery, so it is 'possible' that he is here also. I will leave his memorial here until someone provides me with information of some other location.
