He graduated from Washington State College in 1950 and was a farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Verna.
Survivors include four children, Marie Johns of Kalispell, Luci Klein of Almira, Wash., Robert Johns of Oak Harbor, Wash., and Karen Simison of Davenport; and five grandchildren.
