Alma Wright, 89, of Del Norte, died at St. Joseph Hospital March 19. She was born Nov. 15, 1899 in Hooper, Colorado to John and Caroline Bingel Jemison. She married Earl McCraney who preceded her in death. She later married Stanley Wright, who also preceded her in death.
She was a store clerk and a homemaker on a ranch outside Del Norte. She was a member of the Methodist Church and enjoyed embroidery, crocheting, and life on the ranch.
She is survived by one daughter, Betty Worker, of Monte Vista; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held last Wednesday morning at the Chambers and Sharp Funeral Home in Del Norte with Rev. Mike Couch officiating. Burial was in the Del Norte cemetery.
