Born in Sugar Hill, then a district of Lisbon, since 1961 an independent town. Married, 12 Sep 1841 at Franconia, by John C. Colby, J.P. 5 children. Farmer. Cause of death, "Congestion of Brain." Two children buried with them, who died on the same day in 1865, were probably victims of the town's "throat distemper" (diphtheria) epidemic.
