She was a native and life long resident of Orange; born on July 24, 1951 to the late Essie Mae (Trussell) and J C Ellis.
She was a manager in retail; the most recent was a Market Basket. She loved to cook, sew, and enjoyed painting. Phyllis was a loving mother, sister and friend who will be missed dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J C Ellis; sisters, Linda Booker and Patsy Green.
Left to cherish her memory will be her daughter, Ann Ellis; one grandson; sister, Gloria Stanley; brothers, Jerry Ellis and wife, Beverley, Jimmy Ellis and wife, Margie, Larry Joe Ellis, David Ellis and numerous nieces and nephews.
