first wife was Gloria Bonacassa

Charles Howard was a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne in Korea in the 50's.He went on to be an Electronics Engineer, and did pioneering work in electronic image transfer in the early 1960's.working for Victor Comptometer Corporation

He worked on VICTOR ELECTROWRITER Handwriting Transmission Systems for Victor Comptometer.

It was amazing to see an image being printed on a computer dot matrix like printer coming over the phone wires in 1964 or 1965.Victor closed the division he was working in.

He lived most of his life in Brooklyn and Queens, New York.

He had a cabin cruiser which slept several people and it seemed that he spent all his time and money on the boat.
In the end, the wooden boat had to be scrapped because it was just too old and required too much maintenance.
I remember him filling the tanks up with gas, spending $100 on gas in the 1960, I couldn't believe spending so much money on gas. Gas was about 30cents a gallon in those days.

His father Charlie was a professional sailor, working as a merchant marine all his live.

Shortly before his death, he moved from NY to Phoenix so he could breath better.Only lasted in Phoenix less than 1 year after the Cancer treatment. He died of a heart attack after having had Lung cancer.Very over weight, he died while at work as a delivery man delivering flowers.
