The body of Gregory McPherson, only son of ex-Senator McPherson, of New Jersey, who died at the Delaware Water Gap on the 22d instant, was brought to this city for burial last night.

The funeral, which will be very private, will take place at the McPherson mansion, No. 1014 Vermont avenue, on Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock, the Rev. Dr. Elliott, of the Ascension Church officiating. The interment will be at Oak Hill cemetery.

At the time of his death Mr. McPherson was twenty-eight years old. He was a native of Patterson, N.Y., [sic] and a graduate of Yale College, and was prominently connected with athletic circles at that institution. For the last few years he has been managing his father’s cattle-exporting business. Mr. McPherson was not married.
