FAIRHAVEN Daniel J. D'Onfro, 67, formerly of the West Island section of Fairhaven, passed away Wednesday October 14, 2009 at Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River.
He was born July 14, 1942 in Fitchburg MA, a son of the late Daniel J. & Inez (Smith) D'Onfro, he lived in Leominster MA until moving to his beloved West Island in 1984.
In addition to his companion Donna Loucks of Fall River, he is survived by sons David V. D'Onfro of Old Saybrook CT, Daniel P. and his wife Christine of Westport, Kurt M. and his wife Danielle D'Onfro of Wallinford CT, a stepdaughter Robin Scott of Fitchburg, grandchildren Emily D'Onfro of Wallingford CT, Daniel P. D'Onfro Jr. of Westport MA, brothers Dennis D'Onfro of Lunenburg MA, Peter D'Onfro and wife Christine of Katy Texas, as well as nieces Wendy Tackett and Jennifer Capone.
