BENTON W. AIKENS, 80, DIES NEAR BRINGHURST
Benton Willard Aikens, 80, Monroe Township, Carroll County, Indiana, farmer died Thursday night at the family home, west of Bringhurst, Indiana. He had returned home last Monday from the Cass County Hospital in Logansport, Indiana. Born in Clinton County, he was married to Laura Julian in 1888. Surviving are the widow; two sons, Clyde near Bringhurst and Ray of Fort Wayne with a sister, Mrs. Jennie Bell, Bolivar, Missouri.
The funeral was held at Mount Olivet Church Sunday at 2 p.m. with Reverend H.H. Western officiating. Burial was in Zion Cemetery.
