C. Marie Alexander, 73, of 720 College Mall Road, Bloomington, died at 6:20 p.m. Saturday at Meadowood Retirement Center.
Born Aug. 11, 1911, she was the daughter of William and Lizzie (Gilmore) Stevens. She was a member of Fairview United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Suzanne Brown of Bloomington; two sons, Gary and Keith Alexander both of San Diego, Calif.; one brother, John R. Stevens of Silver Springs, Fla.; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Alexander in 1974, one brother and one sister.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday at Valhalla Memory Gardens with the Rev. Boyde Nelson. There will be no visitation. The family has suggested that donations be made to the charity of donor’s choice in care of Greene and Harrell Mortuary, which is in charge of arrangements.
